Our Mission Statement:
The Harvest Ridge Placer Academy Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a fundraising and activity oriented organization that works to better the educational experiences of our children, support the teaching staff and the promotion of good citizenship. The HRPA PTO works to fulfill the mission of the school by collaborating with parents, staff and students to enrich the entire educational experience.

Gayle Olmstead – President
I am currently a stay at home mom. I have a bachelor’s degree in biology and trained service animals for 17 years. I recently went back to school and received training in accounting and business. I have two daughters, Lilly in 4th grade and Emma in 1st grade. I look forward to a great year, building relationships within our school community.
Michelle Leineke – Co Vice President
I am a stay at home mama and a Registered Nurse. My son Stone is 7 and will be in second grade, my daughter Aspen is 5 and she will be in Kindergarten. I joined the PTO because I wanted to become involved and honestly what better way to know what’s going on within the school!
Ali Hurst – Co Vice President
I am a stay at home mom of two boys. My oldest Noah is in 2nd grade and my youngest Lucas will be starting in kindergarten next year. This is my second year at Placer Academy. I joined the PTO to be involved, meet new people and bring about new and exciting ideas.
Jenn Duerr – Treasurer
I have enjoyed serving on the board the past 3 years and look forward to another great year! I have a son starting 9th grade at Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, a daughter in 4th grade and a son in 2nd grade at PAC. Looking forward to the 2018-19 year!
Heidi Holmes – Secretary
This will be my 6th year at Placer Academy. I have been on the PTO board for the last few years as Secretary. My oldest daughter Maya just graduated from 8th grade and will be attending Del Oro High School and my youngest daughter Lucy is entering 4th grade.
Jenny Long – SCRIP Coordinator
Hi, I'm a para educator here at Placer Academy. I can be found helping in the classroom, at lunch, out on the playground and in the crosswalk. My son is making his way through 4th grade this year.
Julie Malmberg – Co Community Outreach Coordinator
I'm a SAHM who volunteers to advocate on behalf of charter schools in California. Two of my three kiddos are Placer Academy students - Audrey (2nd), Balian (K), and a future student Abby (age 3). I'm looking forward to working with my co-chair bridging relations between our campuses and community.
Cassidy Wennesheimer – Co Community Outreach Coordinator
I have 3 kids at Placer, Kaleb (Kinder), Drayk (4th) and Dominic (7th), with Xander joining the Placer family in 2020. After moving from the Midwest and trying traditional public schools we found Placer and we couldn't be happier. Our family is so grateful to be a part of this community.
